Therefore, we are committed to protecting the privacy and security of the information that you disclose to us. Global Fleet Filtration will in no way disclose our list of customers or give out information about our customers to anyone for any reason other than is necessary to fulfill your request, e.g. to ship an order. This statement covers any transaction, address, or any information about any transaction.

There are forms in our website where information is requested from you. To purchase our products, request information, leave feedback or respond in any way you must at times provide contact information (like name and shipping address or e-mail address) and financial information (like credit card number, expiration date) This information is used for billing and shipping of orders or to communicate with you our customer as is requested of us or is necessary to meet your need with the utmost degree of professionalism.

This website contains links to other sites. Please be aware that Global Fleet Filtration is not responsible for the content or privacy practices of such other sites. We encourage our users to be aware when they leave the Global Fleet Filtration website and to read the privacy statements of any other site that collects personally identifiable information.

Global Fleet Filtration is the sole owner of the information collected by this web site We only have access to collect information that you voluntarily give us via our web site forms, e-mails or other direct contact with you. We will not sell, rent or lend this information to anyone for any reason.

Unless you ask us not to, we may contact you via e-mail in the future to tell you about specials, new products or services, or changes to this privacy policy statement or any changes made on our site or to your order. You may at anytime opt out of any future contacts from us. You can do so by contacting us by e-mail and letting us know you would like the information we have about you to be deleted from our system.

SECURITY POLICY

Global Fleet Filtration has insured and will continue to insure that the latest SSL encryption technology is used to secure and protect credit related information gathered or transferred on line. It is safer to shop on line than by telephone as telephone conversations are not encrypted. No Credit Card information is stored on our server so their is nothing to hack or steal.

The same security standards are in place to insure the safety of off line information you have offered us. That information, which we have received and collected by your voluntary order to do so, remains only as the property of Global Fleet Filtration. Again, it cannot and will not be sold, lent or offered by any means to anyone with the exception of only that which is necessary to ship our products to you.

RETURN POLICY

Any filtration product offered on our website is returnable. That product however, must be returned in the same un-used and un-opened condition in which it was delivered to receive that credit.

A 5% handling / restocking fee and any fees related to the delivery of the product to you the purchaser and its return to Global Fleet Filtration the seller, are the responsibility of the purchaser for all orders returned and will be deducted from that credit due.

An exception will be made and a full credit given, shipping or otherwise for the product to and from on any orders that are damaged in the shipping process to you or are in-accurate in respect to what was ordered and what was received.

Acceptance for any order shipped to you the purchaser is made by you the purchaser at the time of taking delivery. When taking delivery, please make sure that the order is accurate, complete, un-damaged and meets your criteria as acceptable. Your signature on the shipping document is an indication of that acceptance.

PRODUCT WARRANTY POLICY  

 

 

Consumer purchasers of automotive filters are sometimes told by dealers, mechanics or others that a brand of replacement filter cannot be used in the consumer’s vehicle during the warranty period. The claim is made that the use of brand will "void the warranty" with the statement or implication that only the original equipment brand of filter may be used. This, of course, tends to cast doubt on the quality of the replacement filter.

This claim is simply not true. If the consumer asks for the statement in writing, he will not receive it. Nevertheless, the consumer may feel uneasy about using the replacement filters that are not original equipment. With the large number of do-it yourselfers who prefer to install their own filters; this misleading claim should be corrected.

Under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act and general principals of the Federal Trade Commission Act, a manufacturer may not require the use of any brand of filter (or any other article) unless the manufacturer provides the item free of charge under the terms of the warranty.

So, if the consumer is told that only the original equipment filter will not void the warranty, he should request that the OE filter be supplied free of charge. If he is charged for the filter, the manufacturer will be violating the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act. or other applicable law.

By providing this information to consumers, the AFMC can help combat the erroneous claim that a brand of replacement filter other than the original equipment will "void the warranty".

It should be noted that the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act is a federal law that applies to consumer products. The Federal Trade Commission has authority to enforce the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, including obtaining injunctions and orders containing affirmative relief. In addition,  a consumer can bring suit under the Magnusson-Moss Warranty Act.

LIMITED WARRANTY

New car and equipment warranties remain in effect when NAPA filters are used.

NAPA Filters warrants each NAPA filter to be free of defects in material and workmanship during the period of service life recommended by the engine or equipment manufacturer. This warranty does not apply if the filter has been improperly installed, abused, damaged or used in competitive racing or on modified high performance engines or used in any aircraft or aviation application.

If your NAPA filter is found to be defective in material or workmanship during the service life recommended by the engine or equipment manufacturer, NAPA filters will replace the defective filter with another NAPA filter. In addition NAPA filters will reimburse you for the reasonable costs of the parts and labor required to repair your engine or equipment to the extent the damage was was soley attributable to a defect in your NAPA filter.

In order to obtain engine or equipment repairs under this warranty, the customer must, within 30 days after the discovery of damage, submit a claim to any NAPA representative, our NAPA distributor, or directly to the address below. The customer must also allow the NAPA technical Service Department to examine the filter and, if required the engine or equipment, to determine the extent of the damage and weather it was caused by a defective NAPA filter. The filter must be returned, in its origional, undamaged condition, to the NAPA technical Service Department for examination.

This warranty is exclusive of any other warranty, express or implied. NAPA FILTERS EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS, WITHOUT LIMITATIONS, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTIBILITY AND OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. The foregoing states NAPA Filters entire and exclusive liability and the buyer's exclusive and sole remedy for any damages or claim made in connection with the sale of a NAPA filter. NAPA filters shall in no event be liable for any special, incidental, or consequential damages whatsoever, except those provided for specifically in this warranty.

Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
